British duo Ida Mae have produced something atmospheric and truly special with their new single, ‘Road To Avalon’. The single, which was originally going to be the title track of their upcoming album (now named Click Click Domino and dropping on July 16^th, 2021), is a cinematic slow burn. Set against a sprawling video filled with footage from across a variety of locations, ‘Road To Avalon’ journeys from the plucking sounds of innocent introductory instruments, through bouncy hooks and into a dramatic, thick-textured climax. On the track’s inspiration, they say: “It's an unusual feeling, by chance witnessing moments of people's everyday lives that seem to take on a deeper meaning and resonance for you by being there to see them.
